Accounts Payable Representative I Location:
Remote but may be expected onsite in the future (1 Albion Rd Lincoln, Rhode Island USA) Duration:
5-6 Months Pay rate:
$17.50/HR on w2 PURPOSE:
Assist in the review, audit and processing of new vendor setup and maintenance requests in the AP vendor master. JOB
Responsibilities:
Verify all vendor master requests follow agreed business processes and policies while maintaining high levels of understanding, quality, and accuracy. Ensure all requests contain the appropriate supporting documentation before they are entered in our systems. Complete vendor master requests in a timely manner by performing integrity checks to ensure accurate vendor master data. Communicate with internal and external customers to verify information or resolve issues identified during the process. Performs other relevant job duties as required. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/ Certifications:
(Required & Preferred) High school graduate or equivalent or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform duties
Experience:
One year of experience in accounts payable preferred System Implementation Preferred Knowledge:
Basic understanding of accounting, reconciliations and accounts payable functions Working knowledge of MS Office Suite Skills/ Abilities:
Strong administrative skills including attention to detail, organization in a fast-paced corporate environment, and ability to shift focus based on fluctuating prioritization. Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing with internal departments, vendors, and customers. Ability to manage time and achieve service levels. Ability to work well in a team environment, develop relationships with internal departments to resolve disputes and outstanding issues quickly, and maintain a professional demeanor when faced with a high volume of work. Self-starter who takes initiative to learn new processes, procedures, and tools.
