2:
30pm - 11pm) to provide students, staff, and the public a safe, sanitary, and attractive facility.
Essential Functions:
Clean and maintain all assigned work areas and equipment; assist in building and grounds security by locking all doors after use and at end of work day as scheduled; assist in snow removal around school facilities; perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds; follow safety procedures as provided by the district or by state/federal law; perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities and Duties1.
Keep buildings and premises, including sidewalks, driveways and play areas neat and clean at all times in accordance with established work schedules/checklists; shovels and/or sands walks, driveways, parking areas, and steps as necessary;2.
Checks daily to ensure that all exit doors are open and all panic bolts are working properly during the hours of building occupancy; 3.
Raises the United States flag at or before 8:
00 am on each school day and lowers it at or after 3:
30 pm; 4.
Sweeps classrooms daily and dusts furniture; cleans corridors after school each day, and during the day when their condition requires it; cleans and disinfects toilets, bathroom floors, sanitary fixtures, and drinking fountains daily; washes all windows as needed; keeps the grounds free from rubbish; keeps all floors clean and in good repair; cleans all chalkboards at least once a week; 5.
Makes minor building repairs as qualified; reports major repairs needed promptly to the Principal or Director of Non-Instructional Services;6.
Maintains, on a regular schedule, all motors and other mechanical equipment requiring scheduled servicing; 7.
Immediately report to the Principal or Director of Non-Instructional Services any damage to school property; 8.
Assume responsibility for the opening and closing of the building each schools day and for determining, before leaving, that all doors and windows are secured, and all lights, except those left on for safety reasons, are turned off and shades drawn at equal height at end of school and on weekends; 9.
Keep an inventory of supplies, equipment, and fuel on hand and requisitions such as needed replacements from the Director of Facilities & Security or his/her designee, far enough in advance so that they may be delivered in such time as will not hinder the Custodian in his/her duties; 10.
Move/arrange furniture or equipment within buildings as required for various activities; 11.
Store and dispose of trash and waste material in compliance with all State/Federal laws and procedures; 12.
Participate in necessary painting and general repairs to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general mechanical areas; 13.
Assist maintenance staff in remodeling and renovation work when necessary; 14.
Assume responsibility for the general security of the building and energy conservation regulations; 15.
Vacuum carpets throughout assigned areas of facility; 16.
Attend mandatory trainings as required; 17.
Respond to immediate safety concerns i.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
